Summary

You may (or not) be familiar with Barak Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction – but how are you applying these in your science teaching? Good CPD enables us to take an idea and investigate how it might apply in our setting and to our practice.

The session ‘Implementing Rosenshine’s principles in the science classroom: Effective questioning’ discusses the teacher’s most fundamental assessment tool and how we can use this to help students build connections and strengthen understanding.
