Urban regions

In this resource students are provided with a table showing the efficiency of various factors in warming up or cooling down the neighbourhoods of three urban areas. Students are required to interpret the data,  manipulate the data and calculate averages. The data then has to be represented graphically. A number of graphs are provided, taken from the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report 2021, with questions for students to answer based upon the information provided. This is an ideal resource for use in Core Maths or any statistics lessons requiring students to interpret data from an unfamiliar, complex source.
