Fixperts
Fixperts is an award-winning, hands-on learning programme that challenges young people to use their imagination and skills to create ingenious solutions to everyday problems. The programme is equally relevant to design and technology, engineering and as a STEM enrichment activity.
This set of resources can be used to introduce pupils to ideas about social and inclusive design, problem identification, iterative design and evaluating ideas with a user in mind.

Introduction presentation: This Powerpoint presentation can be used at the beginning of any Fixperts activity to stimulate discussion about designs relationship to problem-solving.
Workshop teachers' guide: This activity challenges learners to put themselves at the centre of the design process by modelling a user experience. It cultivates a user-centred and inclusive mindset.
