Careers from biology
Produced by the Wellcome Trust, this issue of the Big Picture explores some of the careers that are available to students who have studied biological science. It goes beyond the doctors, vets and other science-related careers typically described to include people working in a wide variety of sectors.
Case studies include the work of:
- molecular biologist

The materials also include a series of suggested activities that could be linked to the Big Picture article. A short video clip examines some of the options faced by a student studying science A-levels and considering a career in medicine. The video shows some different options open to students following post-16 courses in biology.
