Summary

This course is aimed at Early Years practitioners and / or science subject leaders

 

In this session we will:

  • Review the science content of the EYFS framework and look at how it links to the KS1 science curriculum (both subject knowledge and working scientifically skills)
  • Discuss how to provide an effective environment for learning science in an Early Years setting
  • Look at some resources that will support teachers to plan effective provocations to develop children’s science skills, science vocabulary, as well as their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
