A future without waste - stories of change

This set of three PowerPoint presentations is the second session in the future without waste series and focuses on Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s three core principles of a circular economy

  • Eliminate waste and pollution
  • Circulate products and materials
  • Regenerate nature

The first PowerPoint in the series considers how we can eliminate waste and includes case studies on how the waste from one business becomes a resource for another.

The second presentation considers how we can keep resources in use for longer so less new resources are used, and less waste is created, and includes case studies on how materials and products can be reused, recycled and re-purposed.

The third presentation considers how nature can be regenerated and includes case studies showing how we can help repair the damage already caused by human activities. The resources include videos, handouts and activities, along with accompanying supporting notes that provide both a script and thinking points that might be used by educators.
