Farming STEMterprise
This set of Farming STEMterprise projects take children through all aspects of setting up a farm shop business, through practical science and design and technology lessons for each year group. This includes:
- Deciding which crop to grow whilst considering seasonality
- Growing their own ingredients
- Considering nutrition when designing their recipes
- Using market research as a business tool
- Working within a budget
- Using knife skills when creating their products
- Calculating pricing and profit
- Designing responsible packaging
