Burning Water 2

In this activity, students carry out research into the development and application of hydrogen fuel cells. Students are asked to produce a presentation or podcast which includes:

*An explanation of what hydrogen fuel cells are

*A description of how they work

*The advantages (and disadvantages) of hydrogen fuel cells compared to other energy sources

*Examples of current applications of hydrogen fuel cells

This resource is part of the Power House scheme of work, from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), in which students investigate the topical issue of the cost and efficient use of energy. It is supported by the video Power House.
