2A - habitat loss
2B - water pollution
2C - noise and light pollution
Each session includes an online poll for pupils to share their opinions, key vocabulary, a warm-up game or activity and a video from the Natural History Museum exploring the different ways in which people are trying to have a more positive impact on the environment. Pupils are also provided with case studies on a wide range of birds that are being negatively impacted by human activities and given time to reflect and come up with possible solutions through a creative challenge to protect either the birds explored in the case studies, or birds in their own local area.
The sessions finish with a quiz to test pupils' learning and further ideas for protecting 'today's dinosaurs'.
