Air traffic control communication
This is one of a series of resources from the IET designed around the theme of the future of flight with the purpose of developing pupils knowledge and skills in engineering and mathematics. This activity focuses on developing the communication skills needed to perform the role of an air traffic controller as pupils work together in groups to follow instructions to make a range of shapes using different cards. It could be used to explore jobs and careers within aeronautical engineering and the aviation sector.
