Computing outdoors booklet

Computing concepts do not always have to be taught with a computer, and this booklet offers a variety of ‘unplugged’ activities, designed to be completed without a digital device.

It consists of seven activities, including;

  • Networks in the local area, including CCTV, Wi-fi and 4G/5G
  • Computer systems and embedded systems, including inputs and outputs
  • Digital images, including raster/bitmap and vector images, and aliased and anti-aliased images
  • Satellites
  • Computing artefacts
