Air Quality

These diagnostic questions and response activities (contained in the zip file) support students in being able to:

  • Recognise that air is made up of a mixture of different substances.
  • Describe the composition of air.
  • Name the substances that may be found in polluted air.
  • Recognise that not all air pollution is visible.
  • Recognise that air pollutants can move away from their source.

The resources include details of common misconceptions and a summary of the research upon which the resources are based.
