From the British Nutrition Foundation, this lesson plan and supporting resources aim to help children use descriptive language, name a selection of different cooking equipment and to perform simple food skills safely such as rubbing in and using a cutter. This session contains a lesson plan, display cards and advice sheets supporting setting up cooking with your class and support to ensure that food tasting is an enjoyable experience for all learners. Although this resource is designed for EYFS, it could be easily adapted to work across the primary phase.
