Mathematics Exemplification Examples

The supplements of examples from the Secondary Framework for Teaching Mathematics, produced by the National Strategies, illustrate what students should be able to do within a particular strand of objectives by the end of each year. The four strands being number, algebra, statistics and geometry each of which is subdivided into year groups.

The main purpose was to help teachers interpret the meaning and pitch of a particular objective and then to plan and teach so that students make steady progression throughout the year. The examples are a selection and were not intended to be taught as a 'scheme of work' or used as worksheets.
