Summary
Designed to provide teachers with the knowledge of core concepts at KS3 and KS4. This course is for science teachers who are not physics specialists or those who need to build their confidence in teaching physics. We will cover a wide range of topics, developing the substantive and disciplinary knowledge underlying these. We will also support teachers in challenging both students', and their own, misconceptions in physics.

- physics required practicals

Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will have:
- increased understanding of topics at KS3 and KS4
- become more confident and competent in the teaching of physics
- developed an understanding of common students misconceptions and how these can addressed
