Finding us

York is a unique teacher CPD venue, mirroring the modern classroom and laboratory facilities, as well as housing our inspirational resources centre. We are within walking distance from York city centre. York is ideally placed with excellent rail links, thanks to the east coast mainline, and close to the M1, M62 and M18.

Travel by rail

You can get to York from London in less than two hours with services from both LNER and Grand Central. There are direct services from Birmingham and the South West. TransPennine Express runs direct train services from Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle.

''

Travel by car

York is just 20 minutes from the M1/M62 motorway network and is within comfortable driving times from many parts of the UK.

However, we suggest using public transport as parking is limited. The nearest pay and display is North Car Park but is often full from quite early on in the day. The machines accept contactless payment or payment made by phone.

Travel by air

York is close to four international airports:

  • Leeds/Bradford

  • Manchester

  • Humberside
