This course will give you the chance to gain an understanding of the drivers and barriers to student progress, and discover teaching and learning strategies to maximise progress of learners. Learn how to use analytical data to diagnose and remedy problems/issues, and develop practical strategies to ensure that all learners make outstanding progress.
Explore different methods to help KS5 learners cope with the challenges of independent learning and develop the resilience to endure a full post-16 programme. Develop strategies to ensure that the culture of the classroom is right and that learners develop the metacognitive skills and motivation needed to progress to higher levels of study and employment.
