Summary
Improve your delivery and support of your students with the required A level biology practical skills on this two day residential course.
With complex practical questions now commonplace in biology examinations it is important to have strategies for a wide range of both practical and subject experiences at your finger tips to support your students with the core practical skills. This course supports you to develop this and to work to develop your students ability to apply their skills to novel contexts.
Run alongside effective practical work:chemistry and effective practical work: physics, there is opportunity for you to customise your programme based upon your own personal and school priorities in order to gain the most out of your two days with us.

Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- develop your pedagogical subject knowledge to support practical assessment in biology
- apply CPAC to all practical work not just required practical in order to develop student skills
- adopt strategies and techniques to develop student responses to practical written questions
