Governors auditing and supporting health and safety in science and D&T departments NR208 / C20
Governors play a key role in supporting practical subject departments by ensuring they meet both statutory requirements and good practice. Effective health and safety management, as well as the condition and maintenance of teaching spaces, is crucial.
However, health and safety in science can often appear quite different to other organisations and industries which governors may be familiar with. This short course will enable you to audit, challenge and support subject leads of science and design and technology departments, as well as helping provide a voice at governance level to ensure that any issues are prioritised and tackled.
Group booking discounts are available on many of our courses. Please contact us for further information.
