Summary

The new Ofsted inspection framework emphasises the importance of a broad and balanced curriculum. This course considers the value of making cross-curricular links to raise the profile of science and gives practical ideas on how to embed science across a range of foundation subjects to enrich teaching and learning. Through hands on sessions, we will explore a wealth of strategies and resources which participants can use in their own teaching and share with colleagues for impact across the school.

Outcomes

You will:

  • identify ways to enhance science learning by making links with a range of foundation subjects
  • use a range of approaches that encourage deeper thinking and promote the development of key skills
