Summary

Working Scientifically is an essential component of the new GCSE curriculum. We will explore the different strands within Working Scientifically and look at strategies for embedding these skills within teaching, to support students in the new GCSE examinations

Outcomes

You will be able to:

  • develop your understanding of the Working Scientifically strand of the curriculum and consider progression routes within the strand
  • explore how to embed strategies to support students working scientifically
  • develop and appraise relevant resources, tools and techniques and learning in your school
