Lesson 1 - Systems
In this session, pupils are introduced to the concept of a system, developing their understanding of components working together to make a whole. Pupils will explore how digital systems work and the physical and electronic connections that exist. The activities support pupils to describe a computer system as featuring inputs, processes and outputs and to explain that computer systems can communicate with other devices. This session is first in a six session teaching unit provided by the National Centre for Computing Education.
