Timbers: hardwoods and softwoods
In this lesson students will gain an understanding of the properties of both hardwood and softwood timbers. Completion of a card match up task will demonstrate their understanding which forms useful revision notes for the examination. They will learn the names of different hardwoods & softwoods and their potential uses in relation to products. Learning and understanding will be tested by a series of questions and a homework worksheet.
