This activity provides the opportunity for children to learn about the number of dishes which can be made with fish and to plan their own meals which include fish, a starchy food and vegetables.

Children are shown meals containing fish and asked to identify the fish, the starchy food and the fruit and vegetables in the meal. They then play a game where they use cards showing ingredients to create a fish dish.

Provided by the British Nutrition Foundation the resource includes teachers’ notes and the materials required for running the lesson.
