In this activity, aimed at Early Years Foundation Stage children learn the importance of eating a variety of fruit and vegetables every day to stay healthy.
Using the images of fruit and vegetables children discuss when they could be eaten over the course of a day. They use their sense of touch to identify fruit and vegetables in a feely bag and play fruit and vegetable bingo.
Provided by the British Nutrition Foundation the resource includes teachers’ notes and the materials required for running the lesson.
