This tutorial, from Bristol University’s Let’s Dissect, highlights the structure and function of the digestive tract, including the salivary glands, oesophagus, stomach, duodenum, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, small intestine, villi, large intestine and rectum. Curriculum links include the digestive process, enzymes, adaptation, products of digestion and absorption. Throughout the tutorial, the key points which students should know are explained, and a picture of a brain is used to indicate extension material. The digestive tract tutorial for students is intended for students to work through themselves, whereas the teachers' version makes whole class teaching easy with simple index access.
