SimSpace

SimSpace is a SimPhysics game-based learning resource where players take on the role of space scientists, scouting the skies for Near Earth Objects (NEOs) that may pose a risk to life on Earth.

The premise is that planet Earth is overdue a major impact from an asteroid or comet, and players are leading the effort to detect any NEOs heading our way. SimSpace can be played in small groups, by individuals or used in a whole class setting and is accompanied by comprehensive teacher support resources, handouts and suggested lesson ideas.

Teachers' notes are provided, which include advice on using the game in lessons.

Please note: From 2021, Adobe has discontinued support for Flash player and as a result some interactive files may no longer be playable. As an alternative method to accessing these files a group of volunteers passionate about the preservation of internet history have created project Ruffle (https://ruffle.rs/). Ruffle is an entirely open source project that you can download and run many interactive Flash resources.
