Creative Use of Odd Moments contains seven activities which are ideal for use as starter activities, extension questions or to develop mathematical thinking and problem solving. Each activity is accompanied by teacher notes, supplying the answers and explanations of the mathematics involved. Mathematical topics covered include finding the sum of square numbers, generalising quadratic sequences, Pythagoras’ theorem and Fibonacci numbers.

More Creative Use of Odd Moments contains eight activities covering simple proof, understanding relationships between multiplication and division, odd and even numbers, rates, number patterns, sequences and Farey sequences.
