GCSE Maths in Action: inspirational days for KS4 students

Our exceptional GCSE Mathematics in Action days consist of five informative, engaging and interactive sessions from leading lights in the maths world. They are educational, motivational and fun.
Cerys Bradley, UCL - 'Tor, statistics and the Dark Net'
Nira Chamberlain, Babcock International Group - 'Maths versus AI: minimising the probability of an Artificial Intelligence takeover'
Sabine Hauert, University of Bristol - 'Swarm modelling across scales: from flocking robots to nanomedicine'
Colin Wright, Mathematician and juggler - 'Patterns and predictions'
Please note that many schools book in the spring or summer term and amend in September. Consequently, many days fill quickly. No deposit is required at the time of booking.

Grants for school
The Royal Institution runs two enrichment and enhancement grant schemes. Grants of up to £500 are available to UK-registered state schools to host a STEM activity selected from the STEM Directory.
There are a number of other organisations that offer grants to schools.
