This series of activities from NASA are based on a weekly series of space science problems distributed to teachers in the United States, from 2004 to 2010. They were intended for students aged 9 to 19 looking for additional challenges in the mathematics and physical science curriculum. The problems were created to be authentic glimpses of modern science and engineering issues, often involving actual research data. The problems were designed to be ‘one-pagers’ with a teacher’s guide and answer key as a second page. This compact form was deemed very popular by participating teachers. This collection includes the following resources: Space Math I to VI; Black Hole Math; Solar Math; Lunar Math; Image Scale Math; Radiation Math; Magnetic Math; Earth Math; Electromagnetic Math; Space Weather Math; and Transit Math.
