This course is designed for computing subject leaders and teachers with a strong interest in leading computing. Over 2 residential periods, you will gain a deeper understanding of the aims of the curriculum, develop your own subject knowledge (including developing strategies to teach the ‘tricky bits’ and identify the role subject leader’s play in developing a whole school approach to teaching this new curriculum.

The course will look at key principles within the curriculum, such as debugging, computational thinking, variables, creating digital content, e safety, networks and hardware.
