Developing an outstanding primary science curriculum NY044

This CPD activity will give you either a starting point or springboard to practical advice and a range of approaches for developing a primary science curriculum.

Summary

With an increased focus from OfSted on curriculum design, primary schools are taking time out to rethink their approach to primary science. What does good science look like? How is it best taught and assessed?
This course will help you to focus on the important aspects of primary science and how to get the most from your school curriculum. You will look at how to ensure progression in both subject knowledge and working scientifically skills across the school and also how to engage your children in developing their science capital.
