Summary

This is a local network meeting facilitated by local teachers to share good practice.

Who is it for?

As well as tackling the tricky bits in science, this session will include an exploration of moderation. Participants are invited to bring along books from the end of key stage year groups 2 and 6 for this purpose.

Network meetings are a chance for subject leaders to learn about the latest local and national initiatives in science and keep abreast of developments within the subject.

Who is the course leader?

Outcomes

You will:

  • develop the teaching and assessment of working scientifically in your school
  • develop your schemes of work/learning in order to enhance the teaching and learning of science in your school
