Technicians Supporting Science with digital skills NY640 / A23
Summary
This is a course for science technicians who have dataloggers gathering dust in the science cupboards or who just want to explore the possibility of using sensors to support teachers and students in science gathering scientific data in the classroom. In the science laboratory we are always using some kind of instrument to gather data, a spirit thermometer for instance so on this course you will be able to able to learn about various dataloggers and sensors from KS2 to KS5 through the practical activities and advice you will encounter on this course.
You will progress throughout the two-day course from microbit to more advanced loggers throughout all three science subjects. Also, as a technician you will be discover how to maintain dataloggers and more importantly the sensors.
