*ARM* From play to project – shaping learning with project-based learning for computing CY303 / X04
Join us for a webinar to introduce how you can plan lessons with physical computing devices, such as the micro:bit, to prepare learners for the transition years between primary and secondary. It explores how to keep learners engaged with STEM & Computing by beginning to introduce more challenging projects that draw out the computational techniques required in the formal curriculum.
What topics are covered?
Physical computing, project-based learning, PBL, micro:bit, computational techniques, KS3, KS4, computer science
Who is the course leader?
- Discover how your students can use physical computing kits to keep them engaged with computing
- Learn up-to-date methods for teaching computing in a project-based way
- Understand the ways in which computing has made a difference to people's lives
