Summary
• Have practical ideas to support the teaching of properties and changes of materials• Have some ideas to support the identification of vocabulary linked misconceptions and other common misconceptions related to this topic• Have some ideas to address those misconceptions• Know where you can access resources to support this, and the wider KS1/2 science curriculum
This session covers properties and changes of matter, focussing on key stage 2 therefore no key stage 1 material will be covered.
