The Education Endowment Foundation has made some firm recommendations for how to improve progress in science lessons.

We will look at some of these, alongside other tried-and-tested techniques that can be embedded into schemes of learning.

You will be able to:

  • Use a range of assessment for learning techniques to develop your students’ understanding.
  • Differentiate the required practicals to make them suitable for all.
  • Use flipped-learning in teaching physics equations.
  • Develop orally in practical lessons.
