Summary
Classifying, exploring habitats, understanding human biology and much more are explored in this practical subject knowledge based course.
You will develop your own subject knowledge to ensure pupils develop the key foundation knowledge for each stage of the primary curriculum. Through the exploration of pupil misconceptions you will develop a working understanding of how best to teach the more challenging programmes of study within this area of biology.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- Explore practical activities to teach animals, humans and habitats and ensure progression of learning
- Develop an understanding of animals, humans and habitats in the primary science curriculum
