Getting ready for the year ahead. What support can you get when preparing for teaching in 2025?

2025 has arrived and our resolution is to continue to support teachers and continue to reach our vision of improving lives through STEM education.

We’ve outlined some ways we can help to ensure you have the support, resources, and knowledge to succeed this year.

1. Get your rest!

While there are still a couple of days until everyone returns to their classrooms, teachers and students alike, take your time to make sure you’re feeling rested and refreshed! Relaxing and spending time with friends and family is an excellent way to avoid burnout in 2025.

2. Learn from home

Although the days of social distancing are over, remote learning still has valuable benefits. Over the festive break, you can build subject knowledge, access classroom footage and reflect on your teaching practice to help maximise student learning.

3. Use STEM Ambassadors to help inspire students

With awareness days like British Science Week fast approaching, make your classroom activities more impactful by bringing in a STEM Ambassador. These industry volunteers can help provide real-life context to young people and inspire them into STEM fields.

4. Lesson plan with our resources

Thousands of our free-to-access, quality-assured resources can give you new ideas, inspiration, and save time on lesson planning. Return to the classroom in the new year fully prepared!
