Mandy's experience Mandy Cave is a teacher at Carmel College in St Helens. The film shows two of her sessions and her talking about being involved in the pilot project.

Frank's experience Frank Mills teaches at Chesterfield College, and has been using the approaches at levels 2 and 3. The film shows one of his GCSE resit sesssions.

A departmental approach At Bognor Regis College Alison Terry and Margaret Ballantyne have been working on the pilot. They are so enthusiastic about the approaches that they are now working with colleagues to apply them across the department.

A whole college approach Tower Hamlets College in East London was one of the first organisations to be involved with the pilot project. It has extended the Standards Unit approach to all aspects of mathematics and numeracy across the college.
