Volume of a Tetrahedron

The coordinates of the vertices of a tetrahedron is given. The challenge is to work out the volume of the tetrahedron. This involves calculating the area of the base, working out the height, and then using the formula for the volume of a pyramid. The calculation uses a combination of the dot product, the sine rule for area, and unit vectors.

In addition to the presentation, there are a series of interactive Geogebra files to allow for the creation of many different examples of the problem.
