Exploring mathematics: decimals

For a long time, countries in Europe has decimal coinage and decimal weights and measure which are called the metric system.

Our scientists use the metric system and soon we shall all be using it instead of the weights, measures, and money tables we have now.

Fortunately for us, the metric system is very simple as you will find as you work through this, book, and calculations in decimal form are very easy indeed.
