Learning and doing mathematics
The aim of this unit is to assist you to learn to do mathematics rather than be confronted by it. The unit draws attention to specific activities or processes which lie at the heart of mathematical thinking. They are essential to learning mathematics from a text, and also to tackling mathematical questions.
