Physics: examination and assessment

This A level course includes two teacher's guides, two corresponding student's guides, two ancilliary booklets for the teacher and five booklets of background reading for the student.

The use of microcomputers has been introduced into the course and specially written software has been produced with accompanying teacher's notes. "Revised Nuffield Advanced Physics" is in line with the new core and syllabuses and the course now contains two new titles.;"Foundation Unit" bridges the gap between GCSE balanced science courses and A level physics work.

It covers the basic principles and applications required at A level."Examinations and Assessment Guide" is a course guide for teachers and students. It describes the components of the Oxford and Cambridge examination, explains its structure and gives worked examples from previous papers of the different types of questions which examiners set.

This text also provides guidance for the management and assessment of coursework investigations.
