Waves and vibrations: unit WV

Each of the students' units in this Advanced Physics Project for Independent Learning series deals with a number of related topics which are explored through different sets of questions. A series of questions on objectives enables students and teachers to check levels of success at the end of each topic. Designed specifically to promote individualized learning for Advanced Level Physics.

This textbook concentrates on waves and vibrations, with clearly defined study objectives, a wide range of activities and built-in assessments. The text incorporates a starting block which delineates the pre-requisite knowledge and abilities required. It also contains a preliminary test which tells the student what action to take at each level of success.
