Decoding mathematics

Secret codes are usually employed when someone wants to make things less clear. The intention in this book is to use codes to make the mathematics clearer. The book includes photocopiable activities, plus hints, prompts, and suggestions for further activities. Possible problem-solving strategies are outlined and indicate some of the ways in which the decoding tasks could be followed with other mathematical work. Suitable for Key Stages 2, 3 and 4.
