Each title looks at a key area of material science as required by the National Curriculum covering subjects such as: - states of matter - material characteristics and behaviour - uses of different materials - material processes and the technology used to make new materials or adapt existing ones for new purposes Each book contains explanatory diagrams, "try-it-yourself" experiments and fact boxes.
