The Road to Zero Hunger

The Action Against Stunting (AAS) project focuses on the impact on child development of diet, and access to local markets and produce. This resource explores the project and includes information sheets and activities where students consider the perspectives of farmers, parents, health care workers and researchers.

The resource is linked to the United Nations 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development. As well as considering the impact of access to fruit and vegetables on child development, the resources provide design and modelling activities to investigate how fresh produce can be kept at low temperatures in order to slow down decay.
