Session 1: Card Trick Algorithm

In this  session you will be using a set of coloured cards to learn how an algorithm can be used repeatedly to solve a problem. You will do this through learning a card trick and the maths behind it to understand how it works. This session will take you approximately 30 minutes to complete.

By the end of the session you will:

  • understand that an algorithm is a repeatable set of steps

  • be able to repeat an algorithm

  • be familiar with the method behind how the algorithm works
