Data Tables and Graphs

This series of interactive excel sheets aimed at Year Two students explores data tables and graphs. New questions and data sets can be generated each time by the click of a button.

The first five sheets generates a sample of up to 20 values, which can then be sorted and placed in a table. A bar chart for the data can then also be displayed. Topic data is generated including pupil names, family size, how students travel to school, bed times and pets.

The following sheet generates a pictogram showing the pets children have. Each picture represents one pupil, and the total for each column can be revealed.

The final sheet generates a bar chart displaying pocket money received each week. The number of people in the survey and total value of money can also be revealed.
